Ivor’s Daily Gallivant Saturday September 30, 2023 I woke before my alarm went off and set to work writing a promotional piece about the launch day for my exhibition. Once it was finished, I posted it on Facebook, and noticed the monthly free repair costs café is today. So, I went to see if my electric razor can be fixed, and it looks like it needs new blades. When I got back home, I realised that the blades had already been replaced. I had a cup of tea and an apple danish pastry and sat watching the people in the waiting to get their things fixed at the Formica tables which ran along the walls of the room. My plan was to next go for a haircut in the Turkish Barber in the precinct, but they only take cash, and the PIN for my new bank card hasn’t arrived so it was no haircut for him. I did some shopping in Lidl and as it was a long time before the bus was expected, ran to the Hythe Pier bus stop.
